System Management
The Texas A&M Digital Repository is built on the open source DSpace system, developed by MIT and Hewlett Packard and now with more than 1000 installations worldwide. The University Libraries' Digital Initiatives unit works to ensure optimal system performance and high availability. Services they perform in support of the Repository include:

System monitoring, testing, and debugging

System administration

Monitoring and upgrading Repository utility programs and middleware

Developing system enhancements

Bulk ingest of large Collections (content and metadata)
The Texas A&M Digital Repository is available for use 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, with the exception of maintenance and upgrade periods. Short-term interruptions and maintenance announcements will be posted on the Repository home page.
The Digital Services & Scholarly Communication unit provides end-user support by phone, email, and in-person Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
